This Medal shall be awarded to police personnel who have rendered
/ render a minimum of two years service in counter-Insurgency
or Internal Security operations w.e.f. 01-01-1989 in the Districts
of Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Adilabad, Medak and Nalgonda
Districts of A.P. State. Personnel of Greyhounds, Special
Intelligence Branch (SIB) and APSP who serve in these areas
for more than two years w.e.f. from 01-01-1989 are also entitled
for this medal.
